Bumbung is a trendy new restaurant and bar located in prime area due to open three outlets in Shanghai in Mac 2012.We are all about a great place to enjoy your comfort food and drinks.

Outlet Chef

China - Shanghai

Responsibilities:



To ensures the efficient and smooth operation of the KITCHEN Division providing services and support to other Divisions as required

Attends and contributes to all Meetings as required


Ensure all employees provide a courteous and professional service at all times

Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up.

Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming

Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.

Exercise responsible management and behaviour at all times and positively representing the management team

Respond to requests to undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties and to changes as dictated by the company

Ensure the prescribed menu & recipe are followed & food produced per company’s quality standard & specification


Perform all duties according to the sanitation & work safety standard & procedure



Requirements:



Holds a qualification in Kitchen Production and Management

Kitchen management, menu planning skills

Familiar with current culinary trends and methods

Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards


Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirement

experience with Malaysian malay and Chinese cooking

Good command of English and proficiency in Chinese add significant value la

Willing to base and work in Shanghai,China

Only Malaysian candidates will be consider

Immediately available is highly preferred

Three full time positions available
